one inch vase. i thought my Echinacea was done blooming, but i found these at the bottom, near the dirt. i loved how the backside (you dirty minded reader…anyone?) of flowers look. some times they are a different colors, their structure is always fascinating. i got an idea! i went to the dollar tree (that is what single mom’s do!) & bought two mirrors. i noticed the mirror frame looked like i could take it off, so i would have a plain mirror. ok, so 7 years of bad luck is on its way. i shattered it in my hands…the explosion was incredible. but what was more so…not a scratch on me! so REALLY, what you are seeing under the vase is the ceiling of the room. cool, huh?
one of my best friends LOVES white flowers. she plants them, buys them, is given them. they sit in wee vases (we shop for small vases together) all over her kitchen. but my gardens gave me the brightest colors it could. i did give Stephanie two vases of color. i knew she liked them because she put them beside her bed. my garden heard about the white flowers & decided to make one, to gift to her.
but…i was selfish & kept it for myself. i did, however, text her a photo of her flower.
my morning’s pick. see the Echinacea? tiny!
i always put beautiful things on this blog. i decided i should show you what my kitchen table looks like most days. art projects for kids drying on cookie rack (I.dont.bake.ever) some of my practice art for the kids. my store bought mums & roses…with my zinnia from my gardens.
wish I had just 1/10 of your talent!

Linda, you can borrow my mirror from the dollar tree & do the same thing with your phone! But, damn…THANK YOU for your INCREDIBLE compliment. Love, amy

Oh wow, Reggie, Thank you so much. My poor kids have to push all the art stuff out of their way to make room at the table, they don’t feel as happy about it as i do! Thank you so very much! ~amy
