Bees are wonderful, precious, and vital to life! Could we imagine a world without bees? Well done you for providing some vitally important Spring bee-food … and I love the photo 🙂

Thank you, jpeggy! I love seeing all the bees this year collecting some spectacular pollen. They will feast very well this year! I have looked up & bought plants & flowers that will attract bees, butterflies & hummingbirds. I need to have some free models to photograph. 🙂 ~amy

That sounds a wonderful symbiotic relationship you’ve built with your garden’s wildlife visitors. I shall look forward to seeing your images of them 🙂

  2. Those are beautiful! I tried taking a close-up pic of a bumblebee the other day on our Lupine flowers. I haven’t had a chance to see how well it turned out yet, but yours is awesome! 🙂 And perhaps that is where the origin of the Christmas ornament came from! That works for me.

Oh, I wish you luck on catching a bee on your Lupine flowers. I took quite a few pictures of that bee, he was a bit rude, he kept showing me his backside…but it was the cutest one i’ve seen in a long while! Thank you for your wonderful compliment! ~amy

      1. I think I did catch a bumblebee on the Lupine, but I’m not sure if the picture came out as clear as I’d like. I still need to look them over. That’s the same thing that happened to me; this bee kept showing me his backside also!

        You are welcome!
