I am standing beside my mother, in the greenhouse @ the Botanical Gardens.

I tell her, “look, Mom, there’s Whoville.”

“where?” she asks.

“there.” I say, pointing.

“where?” She asks again.  I sort of push her in a direction past the HUGE leaf that is blocking Whoville from her sight.

“Ah, you mean this Whoville?” she asks.

“yes.” I answer.

But, in all honesty, it can’t be Whoville because it is not pink. So I’ve taken it upon myself to play Dr. Suess & rename the little worlds, Whatville.

I love my mother. Didn’t I tell you she is brilliantly funny?
