Thank you, Sascha. It is getting into the mid 60’s in Alabama, which means blossoms should be coming up soon. Happy me. ~amy

Hi Amy, fab image you’ve created here! Bottled life can be so beautiful and you’ve captured it well. Spring is on the way so you’ll have more life to photograph. Can’t wait to see more from you. Cheers, Kevin.

That means a lot coming from you, Kevin! I love gardening & arranging the flowers. I know they shine for such a short time, i feel it necessary to document their glory days. 🙂 ~amy

Hello Amy, thanks! You obviously have nurturing hands and a keen eye. I’m amazed by how many great photos you post. I’ve found online it’s either quantity or quality and yet you do both. Hats off to you. I’m pretty useless in the garden or with “still life” photography so it’s a pleasure to see work from those who are good at it. I’m still a newbie on WordPress but I do look forward to seeing your posts. I spend a lot of time trying to photography landscapes that I can’t see properly, the camera can’t see at all, in the middle of the night, usually on a cliff edge, beach or forest so when I get home it’s nice to see your colourful images. Keep it up. Cheers, K 🙂

I’m in a swoon. WOW. Thank you so much, Kevin. Your compliment has simply blown me out of the water. I’m a late learner in gardening. I started getting into it, when I could no longer work because of my broken pelvis, ironic? I have always planted herbs & tomatoes, but never flowers until my life got really ugly @ age 36… I don’t hurt so much when I’m digging in the dirt or cutting the results of my efforts & placing them in vases all around my house. It is when I stop, that I realize I’ve over done it again. But I think anything that can make pain & time stop is worth the effort.
Scary to think of you on cliffs without being able to see properly. In the middle of the night. Oy. It is so worth it to me to sit on my rump & look at your death deifying images. They are magical. I am grateful that I can look at them far from the cliff’s edge. Do be careful. Pain, as you know, closes many doors. Thank God for photography. & blogging & meeting wonderful fellow bloggers, that share the same passions, like you. Cheers to you. ~amy

Hello Amy, credit where credit is due 🙂 sorry for delayed reply! Ive been out trying to get some star trail images for a few nights on the trot. Hmmmmm, have you tried pacing yourself so you don’t over do it? It might be a strategy to help you get more of your fabulous work done. So much in life can be achieved with a camera, a bit a bit of gusto and some time out. Maybe it’s not all about the image. Im usually careful when out on night shoots and I appreciate your thoughts and comments 🙂 looking forward to more images if yours cheers, k.

  3. They look lovely, Amy. Here in North Cyprus there are a few flower shops but you don’t see flowers for sale as I used to do in Australia. However, on feast occasions, called Beyram, the supermarkets are suddenly full of flowers. These are really happy occasions here, mainly devoted to family and friends and reunions, but also with gifts for the poor and the elderly. It’s a very tolerant Islamic society here and the giving is lovely.

Thank you for telling me about flowers were you are, Mo. That is very interesting. I’ll bet seeing flowers after a long absence feels so good. I love flowers. I remember being a little girl thinking to myself, when I grow up, I’m going to put fresh flowers everywhere. And guess what! I do. ~amy
