My Chameleon daughter

This is my 17 year old. I’ve not been able to get her to let me take her photos for a long time. I think the last time she did it, she was 14 or 15. So i am grateful for her to give me the time. As she is very busy with friends &…

my mom, me & my daughter were (cursed)blessed with dark blond hair…or as my mom calls it, ‘dirty dishwater hair color’ more commonly known as ash blond. it has a blue shade to it.  i tend to color outside the lines…i bought my daughter ‘John Frieda shampoo & conditioner & colour gloss for Brilliant Redheads’…it…

umm…wow.

When someone schedules their child for a shoot, a standard one. i ALWAYS ask if i can use some for my blog. I ask the teen, if i can do her hair differently, sometimes i use props like hats or jewelry, clothes. I was given permission yesterday with this senior. She needed no props.

staring me down

she belongs to me. although, i believe in her mind, i belong to her. like an old toy, this teenager has outgrown me. she’ll need me soon, i hope.
