“Rabbi Jonathan Miller of Temple Emanu-El in Birmingham, Alabama shares a recollection of ordinary people and his eulogies for them at the time of their death. The people remembered here were not famous. They were ordinary folks, like most of us. Brought together in a small Southern Jewish community, these ordinary people paint a pictures of an extraordinary period and place in Jewish history. These remembrances will focus you on how to live your life better, appreciate the ones you love, and embrace what is truly important about the life you live.”
i image it is quite difficult to find the words to sum up the entire life of someone i love. i wouldn’t know where to begin. Rabbi Miller wrote a book of eulogies & he shares his process in finding the right words to say. Wonderful reference material for those of us who need to find the right words to say goodbye.
