a treasure trove for Birmingham

i drove through downtown Homewood & found ‘Homewood Antiques & Marketplace’ i would describe it as an adults playground, there is so many amazing old & new things for your home or for gifts for ANYONE. i could do all my holiday shopping in this one store. i had only my iPhone.

i wanted to buy my last name ‘Saab’ in the type blocks & stamp the letters onto watercolor paper, then put the blocks into a shadow box with the printed version as the background…as you can see, they are missing a lot of letters, so i couldn’t make it…

Such wonderful old things, I wonder what they have said during the course of their working lives.

Lovely. Very eclectic and interesting. Not just an ordinary antiques shop.

No, each section was rented by an individual…some sold new things, some sold art, others antiques…thank you Rusha. ~amy
