The first image is an example of my daily picks. I bring the flowers inside & collect the older vases of flowers from around the house. I remove the spent flowers & put them into a bowl for either the compost or to bury in the dirt near the flowering plant. The older flowers get their toes sniped & fresh flower water to sit alongside the fresh cut flowers.
What my partner in ‘happiness, delivered’ & I do is deliver flowers with cards, created using my photographs, to friends & doctors or anyone that has done us a kindness. I’ve spoken to a few privately owned local business to ask if we can bring them small vases of flowers for them to spruce up their stores & sell…Mother’s day is coming. Instead of an expensive card, maybe a small vase of garden flowers with powerful words instead? When the flowers are spent, the card remains. We include a few clippings from house plants as the ‘green’, which in most cases, will root to be planted later.
I am a photographer, gardener & a freelance graphic designer. We’ve combined all as a ‘business’. Not a business to profit financially from. But one that keeps us busy with our passions.
Sometimes it isn’t about making a living, sometimes its about making a life beautiful.
There are examples of our vases on the left hand side of my home page…

Amy, I will gladly be part of your cheering section – your creativity and passion for your art, and for sharing it with others in so many thoughtful ways, is absolutely inspiring.
You have no need to be a chicken – be fearless and brave!
Go out there and share your gifts – start with your immediate surroundings, with the people who know you already, and I promise you, it will grow and expand from there.
When your heart shines through your art, like it does already, people *will* respond positively to you. (If they don’t, they’re blind, or idiots, so ignore them. ;-))
Yayy for Amy!!!
