Sir Henry

Sir Henry

We got home from school @ 3:45. Henry & I made the sword & shield out of matt board. He painted the shield, I did the sword. My daughter found the ‘&’ dragon on the internet & cut it out from photo paper. Outlined everything in jumbo sharpie. My silver shirt on backwards, my brown jacket, the dog’s black leash to tie around the fishing net & tunic & one blue pumpkin to collect candy. Time it took? One hour, it pays to have an art room & an art teacher for a mom. I became Sir Henry’s hero. I am happy. Trick or Treat.

Gosh, he is a handsome Knight.

Wonderful fun challenge. He asked me on the car ride home. I improved it, so that it can hang in the studio! I love matt board over canvas because its cheap as dirt & can take any medium & then it can be framed! ~amy
