the incomplete butterfly

ever notice the stars?
inside an apple, if cut horizontal, there is a star there too…pretty cool, huh?
feed me
yesterday’s pick. i bring the BIG tomatoes in just as they begin to turn red because in Alabama heat, if left outside to ripen, they boil & burst. 🙂 besides, green tomatoes are DELICIOUS! We put them on our pizza, pastas, BLT’s or we leave them to ripen on the kitchen table.

aloe with a bow
this is a wee flower from a Kalanchoe plant. the flowers grow so tightly together, that when i tried to show how beautiful the flower is, it just looked like an orange blob. so i picked one. NOW, you can see how spectacular it is.
funky echinacea
i wanted to buy these for the garden so badly. i didn’t b/c they cost twice as much as regular pink echinacea.
a walk to the pool
and still i managed to get 2nd degree burns on my chest…i counted the blisters….15 mini ones.
geez, you are beautiful
