perception is everything. but the way, Hobbes, my cat, looks really mean in this pic because he is glaring at a bee. he got stung last week by a yellow jacket & has yet to trust any type of flying bug

Thank you so much! I used my portrait lens for that shot, focus drops off very quickly with it. My cat, Hobbes, was stung the day before. His expression is contempt for the bee or yellow jacket the flew past him. ~amy

Oh, it was so awful! i felt so bad & he wouldn’t let me comfort him afterwords. he took off to lick his wounds. ~amy

It was awful, Irene. He jumped all around after being stung. I’d never seen my cat get stung before, but he was batting it with is paw… Thanks for commenting! ~amy

I can imagine, my cats did that too, while they were younger, but I think they learned this the hard way too.
