Mother Nature & Father Time are artists

The elements can take their toll on…well, everything. Like ourselves, dammit. The water levels, the heat, the sun & time has turned this metal into an abstract painting. Photo tip: you carry a camera with you. Remember that you can find art everywhere, as long as you SEE instead of LOOKING.

To SEE, one must live in the moment. that is when things shine.

My favourite is the bottom image with the contrasting green and orange. I also like the contrast of the horizontal wall behind the vertical pilings rising out of the water. Really nifty photo. How did you achieve the colours?

Hi Susanne, I didn’t do anything to achieve those colors. They were found that way. Created by Mother Nature & time. I photographed these images at a pier on Lake Champlain, Vermont. Thank you. ~amy

Hi Dee. Thank you so much. I found the metal along the water on a pier in Burlington. It is Lake Champlain. Fantastic place, Burlington, especially around the Lake. ~amy
