with her hands. i thought at thirteen, she would have outgrown playing with glitter. but then, she is my daughter.  i still play with it too.

  2. Kids and art. They do it differently don’t they. Babes tend to want to wear the materials and wallow in the gooey stuff. It’s messy for sure but gives them a rich experience.

      I’ve had more kids then i can count, play in the water while painting…”look at the swirls of color” I let them for a while, but then remind them that that art will go down the drain & ask them to try to make it happen on paper. Its so good for me to watch kids create art…so free & full of wonder. Therapy for me. That is why i teach children to paint. 🙂
