And it seems her daughter is just as multi-talented as an artist. πŸ˜‰ Those glass candle holders are exquisite. I’m curious about the little blue spots on them?

My mom adds small amounts of fused blue to them. I haven’t any idea how. I tried making a piece, but it didn’t hold my, “i want to see it now” attitude. She is so patent, each piece requires 12+ hours in the kiln. She is far more talented then i am. I love her limitless curiosity to try anything new. Thank you, Reggie. ~amy

I did not know that glass pieces take so long to make… it makes them even more special.

Well, that is fused glass, which is different then glass that has been blown. But I think both ways are extraordinary. Her pieces are treasures. She gave me the purple glass face for my mothers day gift. Yippeeee! ~amy
