  1. My favorite spring “weed” brings back fun memories of my granny, she used to chase me down in her garden because I was picking her violets by the bunch. I love the color and the fragrance, till this day I can’t resist not to pick and be happy for the spring which arrived and given us this tinny little “weed”. So I’m happy, you gave me the first bunch of violets this spring! Thanks for sharing:):):)

Wow, memories are powerful things. The thing people remember most are smells, isn’t that strange? We usually don’t find this in our yard b/c my husband mows everything down in his path. Spring break gave my weeds a chance to come to full bloom. It is a mini field of wild flowers…if I lay down in the grass. Thank you for sharing, eva! ~amy

Thank you, Gretchen. I made the vase out of sculpy clay really quick to see if it could hold water after modge Podging the insides. It worked. ~amy

That camellia is as big as my hand. I thought it looked neat beside the wee purple wild violets. Thank you so much! ~amy

Why are we so judgemental towards ‘weeds’ – many of them are beautiful, and filled with healing qualities – and sometimes they even have gorgeous flowers, like this! 🙂

A weed is a flower in the wrong place. I’m just happy that they had a chance to grow while we were away on spring break. My husband will mow them away soon enough. Grand time to celebrate the free flowers. ~amy

Love ’em. The grass will come & choke them out soon enough. I’d never put them in a vase before. So tiny. ~amy

the weeds come first, then the grass chokes most out, whatever is left we just dig ’em up. I’m just happy to have anything green b/c I own a husky! Thank you, John. ~amy
