Most opinions of Alabama are based on its history. Alabama seldom makes News unless it is negitive. People here seem to want to move forward, but change comes slowly in the deep south. Blame it on the heat. I think Birmingham needs to be seen in a different & beautiful light. I’m showing the beautiful side. Everywhere I go, daffodils cover everyone’s lawn. The daffodil doesn’t see a difference in people or the economy…it just shines on.
Florida is sunny and warm most of the year, but the first daffodils of spring outshine everything at least that is how my memory connects the dots of recollection.
