Our ‘holy bamboo’ (or Chinese bamboo) has leaves that look like these… what is this plant?

The foliage is green, but in winter the leaves change to a dark reddish purple with bright red (poison) berries. ~amy

Nandina domestica? I think that’s the same one we have – and yes, ours also get little red berries. Wow! What an amazing coincidence…
