Nala lives in Birmingham, Alabama. she has not seen snow like this in her life. she wanted to take a walk. but watching the spinning vehicles fly by our house kept us home
She was being a brat! She kept tugging me on her leash, she never does that. She wanted to drag me up the driveway. I saw a lot of dogs free- wearing electric collars. I think they freaked out enough to run through the shock…Nala wanted to find the free dogs & eat them. Her previous owner never trained her to behave with other dogs & she becomes very aggressive. I have to put her to the ground, neck down, because she is a psycho with other dogs… 🙂 She was so angry that I wouldn’t let her go, that she peed in the house twice. I put her on the deck & left her there for hours. I’m happy to report, she is herself again. TMI? Sorry, Gail. 😉 ~amy
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful; the photos, your lovely dog. Very special indeed. Sorry about the weather. From a distance I like the idea, because all it ever does in England is rain at the moment. But I know how hazardous it can be in snow.- Karen.
Wow, Karen, Thank you so much for your awesome compliment! You have good taste in dogs. 🙂
I’ve read about the few times the Thames has frozen over. When people used the river as a market place. Rain must be a bit dull & monochromatic. Do you find the bold hidden among all that rain? I shall go in search of it on your blog. Stay dry or venture out with umbrella & camera to snap the things that stand apart. I would love to see England through your eyes! ~amy
Thank you, Angela! It was a interesting week with the snow. Yesterday, I picked a dandelion & it was in the mid 60’s. So hard to imagine the day before– my driveway was covered in ice… 🙂 ~amy
You missed the snow. It was really beautiful. I was pretty lucky about my choices that I made that day. Nala, my husky looks very beautiful in snow. Thank you for your compliment, prcallahan, I will pass it on to her. Her response is usually, “I know” 🙂 ~amy
You have amazing taste in dogs, Jennay! 🙂 I’ve never seen her in snow like that before. We get snow here maybe once a year & it usually lasts hours. Thank you for your compliment. ~amy
She’s a beauty. Good plan staying indoors. Those spinning cars are a menace. They aren’t spinning here. Seems the few passing my place know how to drive in this weather.
We have a big hill that people have to use to leave the neighborhood. It is scary watching them spin & slid down the road. I’ve got everybody safe. Thank you for the compliment on Nala, she is beautiful! ~amy
That hill sounds scary. I’m lucky to live in a flat area. I’m glad you have everyone safe. I don’t have to worry about getting anyone safe. I’m all I have to worry about.
If you don’t have anyone to worry about, I suggest you find someone…perhaps you could foster a husky? Or a pound dog? Everyone needs to worry about someone, because then they themselves are worried over too. It is the reason we are here! ~amy
I have a pet and I assure you that bird never worries about me. rofl. He’s an independent creature.
I tried for a long time to find a someone to love and be loved by. I had no luck with that so I am not wasting any more time on it.
she must have been very HAPPY!!!

Beautiful Dog! Birmingham got it bad today. Jasper hardly got anything. I’ve been in Memphis this week and we’ve only cold.
