I’m envious. Donna doesn’t like skin-ship like that. *sad*

I’ve never heard skin-ship before, what is the definition? She snuggled a lot b/c we had another dog…he died & now she doesn’t snuggle at all, she was doing it to make him jealous. *sad* ~amy

Your dog is awesome! Snuggling with an ulterior motive… makes me laugh 😛 sorry.
Anyway, with regards skinship, I must have got it off one of those random Korean or Japanese dramas.
Here’s what it says off Wikipedia:
The term “skinship” originated as a pseudo-English Japanese word, which was coined to describe the intimacy, or closeness, between a mother and a child. Today, the word is generally used for bonding through physical contact, such as holding hands, hugging, or parents washing their child at a bath.
The term has also been adopted in South Korea as 스킨십 (seukinship). In South Korea, non-sexual physical contact between members of the same sex is normal, and is often encouraged. Seukinship largely refers to the act on bonding though intimate, non-sexual contact between platonic friends that includes, but is not limited to, holding hands, hugging, cuddling, kissing on the cheeks.

Wow, that my dog & I were certainly being (?) skinship! Very cool to look it up, it didn’t occur to me to look it up because I thought maybe it was an autocorrect mistake, but asked anyway-because I didn’t know what the original word would have been had your computer corrected it…sounds silly now. Yes, my dog was snuggling with an ulterior motive & I miss that brown-nose attitude that I benefitted from. Sometimes if I am super sweet to my female cat, she will be sweet again. Thank you so much for your answer! ~amy
