This is pressure treated lumber, placed deep in Perdido Bay ground. this place where fresh water meets the ocean. ocean winds sometimes pushes rain water against it. sometimes the Gulf of Mexico sends hurricane wind & water beat it relentlessly. this wood receives light reflected from the water below it & some seasons the wood is touched with late afternoon sunlight, the golden kind. mother nature works wonders over time.
