i took my ridiculous, but necessary, walker outside to see my gardens. I’d been outside only one other time since June 24th & saw that without my attention, things went to crap. kinda like my hip bones. however, today was a small victory. I cut my own flowers, that means my bones have knitted themselves together enough for me to bend over & pick through the ugly to find this vibrant bundle of flowers.
Lovely image and, despite the disappointment you say you feel about the garden, still a major step forward. Well done.

Thank you Michael. It was a major step, one that made me happy enough to stand at the sink & put them in vases & then photograph them. Healing is a test of patience, one I pass & fail at depending on the day. However, the worst days now, used to be my best…thank you for your commenting & for reading what I wrote. ~amy

Having been through my own period of illness I have great respect for anyone who does not simply give in. Keep going. It will be worth it.
