I signed it without thinking. Only thinking of claiming the child/woman that belongs to me. My twin took the photograph, which is amazing. If you don’t want this child around, just whip out a camera. Gone without a trace. ;( So I was very happy to get this one.

I speak with authority here: you could never have taken this picture simply because young people look at an uncle in a very different way than they do at a parent. Either way, stunning portrait!

Well, I agree. At least the scowl does not show. But the frown is there. Maybe my twin is too familiar to her to smile as though he was someone other then his mother in male form. Hannah will hear words from his mouth that are similar to mine, even though Jason has been away from me since we were 19 & have seen one another maybe 15 hours in the 30 years we’ve been apart. Strange because from conception until 10 years of age you would have needed a crowbar to separate us. Then you would have needed two mack trucks to put one another in each others company. rambling again. forgive.

My kids (in their early 20s) have a new tactic – they wait until I’m about to take the shot and one or both will look away from the camera, whilst smiling sweetly – and they’re very good at it too (I guess I wouldn’t be any good at poker).
