Green Hydrangea? Why?

This must have been planted by a person who didn’t want to offend the grass or trees by standing out & being, you know, special. Β It is beautiful in its own introverted way.

I noticed that I seem to be attracted to specific colors on different days. Last week, it was yellow. I wonder what it means? Oh, I know…I’m a nutcase!

I don’t know anything at all about gardening and flowers but we have white hydrangeas here and blue ones – never seen a green one. Someone told me they get their colours by (oh I’ve forgotten now) strange and mysterious ways!
