my great grandfather, Louis Rosenthal, carved this man…he is this big
i didn’t have my macro lens with me…too tiny to get him sharp. 
after a thousand shots, i gave up. but this gives you an idea of how small Louis Rosenthal’s work is.
again, i tried to get this ring in focus, as it sat in a rainbow– thrown by a prism sitting on my mom’s window. it’s still cool

I have 2 miniatures, one bronze plaque with the base bracket, and Uncle Louie’s letter to my parents discussing the 4 miniatures he made for them.
