Elton John’s Tiny Dancer. this is the song that pops into my head when i finished editing this shot. most of my teens, i spent laying on the living room rug, blasting ‘Madman across the Water’ i can buy it on Amazon, used vinyl for $1.25 or i can buy it NEW for the incredibly impressive price of $94.99. i bought a record player & i knew Barnes & Noble sold vinyl…it was this album i search for…sadly, they had only one Elton John record, it was all his cheesy 80’s stuff. i didn’t buy it. babbling, sorry…here is my tiny dancer…
post script…Levon is the greatest song Elton John & Bernie Taupin ever wrote, bar none. says i.

Thank you so much. My daughter doesn’t like them. She never reposted any of them. She only sees her flaws. As is normal i suppose. She is wonderful fun to photograph because she is so frustrated to be photographed, i snapped these in between scowls. 🙂 Thanks for commenting! ~amy

Hi Deb, Thank you for your very sweet words about what i’m going though keeping me real. Although, i seldom vent too much real :). Elton in the 1980’s, like keeping it real, fell by the wayside for Elton then. I loved his 1970’s stuff much more. still a bit of a hippy in his music than, i suppose. maybe it was just i didn’t get to hear his 80’s stuff on vinyl anymore? The divorce was finial Feb. 2nd, but x decided he didn’t want to do all of what the judge wanted him to do. so nothing happened again until March 22. The kids & i HATE this house & want to get away from all the horrifying memories we all share. Other way i will be out in June after the house is auctioned off the courthouse steps, meaning i will take away no money at all. I hope i can get internet in our cardboard box. 🙂 Cheers to you Deb!

yes, he wants revenge & i want him out of my life with an absoluteness i cannot even describe, but i’ve got to be punished for his humiliation. Which is proof positive of his weakness to move forward without leaving a path of destruction in his wake. I, however, am a firm believer in happiness is the best revenge. after i am free of this house. i will be happy.
