The Thinker is Rodin’s most famous statue. The original Thinker was part of Rodin’s Gates of Hell (we saw both in Paris last year), but Rodin made about 20 or so bronze Thinkers that are in various museums all over the world.

I don’t think this was made by Rodin because he was in the gift shop for about $60 dollars. Lucky that you saw the original in Paris! Thanks, Timothy. ~amy
