There is a courtyard on the second level of the museum…this is some of the work found there.

I do think this is beautiful, as a work of art. But if I were to see an actual woman this size posed au naturel, I probably would high tail it out of there. Funny how the definition of beauty has changed.

I understand that, Emilio. Her ‘skin’ is flawless, which makes her size irrelevant. ~amy

Surprising to thing that the American Deep South could have art like this. I am so grateful for the museum. Thanks, Eva. ~amy

Nice. The first sculpture looks like it by Botero.

I’m afraid I didn’t read who created it. I’m not familiar with sculptors at all, I should have written down who created it. I hope you are right, makes you seem super smart, Timothy! ~amy

Botoro has a distinctive style, although sometimes other sculptors’ work will have a similar style.

Still, I can’t remember a person’s name after having just been introduced. If i could remember names, I would love to learn the artists so I could figure out their distinctive style, like you! ~amy

I terrible with names. My wife gets after me all the time for forgetting peoples names. As far as remembering artists names, I can remember lots of them on a good day, but many times I’ll know who the artist is, and can’t give you the name.
