Into my gardens. Would you like a little onion, garlic, basil, oregano, thyme, romaine lettuce, tomato, banana pepper with that cilantro? Oh, you are a meat eater. Go carnivore, feast on. iPhone pic.
Hi Marso, I’ve looked everywhere & I can find no evidence of it. It about drove me insane yesterday. I’m going to keep looking. Thank you so much for trying to help this computer idiot to try & find it. Thank you, thank you, thank you for telling me about it. I did share your information with my family. They were all impressed.
What a great shot Amy. I know we shouldn’t give links to our own posts when we comment but I just hope you saw mine. You never know the lady bugs may be related 🙂 http://wp.me/p3gSod-Lf
Thank you, Nelson. Opposites on the color wheel (almost opposites) really make the eyes pop. I hope the ladybug was well fed & made the choice to stay! ~amy
Really? You can import the Preying Mantis? I’ve seen a few around, they do hid really well. I didn’t know that Preying Mantis was a garden friend. I’ve always felt lucky to spot one b/c they look like aliens. Great models. Thank you so much for the garden lesson. I LOVE learning new things. ~amy
Believe it or not…Amazon sells egg cases now. Buy now and stash case into a bush or dense plant. Observe daily, there nothing quite like very very tiny eating machines, haha.
Stunning shot! I do feel welcome, the photo really invites the viewer into another word. I’m getting to be an Amy groupie here, keep the posts coming 🙂
an Amy groupie?!?!? That is the coolest compliment i’ve ever heard, or read. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Words can give me the energy to continue to keep shooting. ~amy
Oh Amy! This photo makes me feel so happy! Maybe because we all remember the nursery rhyme about the ladybird, but those bright red bugs are always a short cut to childlike joy for me!
It is such a good photo too! A great joy to discover on returning to my ‘reader’ column.- Karen
Thank you so much, Karen. I love Ladybugs or any bug that keeps my garden happy & healthy. Its funny that I loved a carnivore while growing my veggies & herbs! I wish I could buy ladybugs, I need more then the two i’ve seen lately. Very happy to find you here, Karen. ~amy
With the iPhone, light matters…anything that is in shadow outside will be good quality. The iPhone camera is not so great with the sun. But if you touch the screen on the area you want in focus, then the camera will expose it to its best advantage. The way meters work on regular SLR cameras. Try it! ~amy
Good luck, Morgan. With photography, you learn by doing…youve just got to figure out what works & what fails, so you’ll improve with every attempt. 🙂 ~amy
Congrats appearing on “Freshly Pressed”! Glad to see!

Honor the Ladybugs 🙂 As a Gardener for 15 years, I preserve the Ladybugs and import the Preying Mantis. Lovely clear close shot!
