oil & water don’t mix art

I showed the class a cup of water, then I poured yellow olive oil & we watched the oil bubble & then settle on top of the water. I gave the kids paper & oil pastels. I told them to press hard onto the paper. Then we used watercolor & discovered that the watercolor was trapped inside the oil pastel lines. Loved it!
