Today I made this. It took about an hour. It is the first time, in about 5 years or so, that I’ve made a soft pastel drawing. I was scared that I wouldn’t feel drawn (pun intended) into the piece because I was afraid of the blank paper. I have a silk red poppy in a very tiny vase. Looks just like this. I’m going to do a little art everyday. I hope.

Well done, Amy! No matter how much time has passed from the las time. This is like to ride a bycicle; in only a few hours your hand will begin to draw like in the past and your heart will become younger .Well, at least that’s what happened to me when I begin to draw again in my blog!
