the Chocolate Checker Taxi

this antique car, parked at a strip mall in Mountain Brook, Alabama, is a CMC Checker. a company that had its headquarters in Kalamazoo, Michigan. it was a tier-one subcontractor that manufactured taxi cabs used by Checker Taxi 1922-2010. this car is loved & babied by its owner. I love the chocolate brown.

        Not sure if that’s what they’re called, but the lights at the top looked like honeycomb to me… 🙂
