in the end, can leave one all alone. Mediocrity has its benefits, to find oneself among the multitude, is a far easier life…
But what happens when you outshine all others? What happens if you are the most beautiful thing in the room? Do you invite envy? Pettiness? The multitude trying to pull you back down, to smear your name in the mud? Creepy people claiming to be your friend? Did you climb over everyone else to shine?
I stood in line at the grocery store today. I was reading the magazine covers, with celebrity’s drama played out for all to see, in the grocery store. Ugh. What a rotten life, being famous, just because you are beautiful, have more money…
It wouldn’t be worth it. Because Time dulls all things. Time will take the red from this rose & as Time defeats it- it would be then, that it’s greatest wish would be to disappear in among the multitude.

It’s one of the things that make me glad none of my books has suddenly gone viral like Twilight or 50 Shades… They’d have so much fodder for gossip rags as I do the school run in the same clothes for the fifth day or suddenly break down sobbing in a supermarket from sheer exhaustion! Lol
