This art project is a very simple one, if you don’t mind stopping by a brook or stream in search of the perfect rock. Or a trip to the dollar store in search of marbles. This was put together by my mother & it sits, usually around her indoor house plants.
A shock of blue, is all it takes to take the simple & assemble it into something simply beautiful

In Vermont, we had a small greenhouse off of the kitchen & in between the plants were piles of stones. Very calming. & yet, I don’t have any in my own house. Shameful! I will change that. Thank you, Gretchen ~amy

I collect rocks and stones. I can’t help myself. You are right….very soothing. Mine have various resting places. In the house and the garden. I like to hold them.

worry stones. My mother tumbled hundreds. I have one rock that come from one place only (that I know of) an island on Lake Champlain in Vermont. I put it upright in my fish tank. It is home & it reminds me of my mother. ~amy
