We would spend hours together making piles of white fur. It is a good work out, brushing a dog like Blue. I wish that I had saved his fur. I saw a woman on YouTube spin husky fur into ‘yarn’ & she would knit scarfs or sweaters with it. Had I saved all that he shed during his 10 years with me…I think I would have a scarf that would have reached the moon.

I used to brush my big lab mix Keegan and get piles and piles of fur just like this. I would place it strategic spots around the yard for the birds to use for lining their nests. I wish I had a photo like this of Keegan and me during a brushing session! This is sweet.

We brushed him outside too. His fur is everywhere, we still find it on our forks of food on occasion…should gross me out, but I miss him too much to care.
