Mad hatter’s hat decoration

Mad hatter decorations

Halloween’s coming.
1. White card stock painted black, while paint is wet, sprinkle black glitter (I know?! can you believe there is black glitter?)
2. When dry, cut a circle a little larger then a half dollar.
3. Cut a strip of the black painted paper about 2″ high, tape inside to hold together as a tube.
4. Flip over black painted paper & trace the outside of tube for top of the hat. cut out circle for the top. All white edges showing should be touched up with black sharpie. I taped, from the inside of tube, the top of the hat onto the tube.
5. I then glued the tube to the bottom of the tube to the 1/2 dollar sized circle. any glue mess will be covered by ‘ribbon’
6. cut out of white cardstock a small rectangle & with very fine blk sharpie, write 10/6 & glue on to side of hat, i use hot pink tissue paper to make bow & help hold onto 10/6 card. (& hide the glue.)
This is the size I wanted…just make it is as large as you’d like, by changing the measurements. Wonderful fun.
