It would mean, instead of men marking their territory like dogs, the smartest humans would settle wars. Men & women could use with their brains. But, that’s silly, right? We like it when men behave as beasts pounding their chests, bellowing, “I’m right & you should die”

I would think God is shaking his head at us.

Perhaps, today, there is a man on a mountain, building an Ark with his sons & their wives. Perhaps we just repeat our existence over & over.

In movies, the fiction kind, the hero sometimes does the bravest thing of all~he puts down his weapon & uses his words. He & his enemy agree to disagree & move forward. It’s been done before…The Magna Carta ~ signed in 1215!? The U.S. Constitution written by braver & smarter men then we have today. The Emancipation Proclamation issued by President Lincoln in 1863…Brave men. Men who made history by restoring or preserving peace.

It seems as though men who chose to look to history for lessons of war are gone.
We know we cannot bring change the Middle East. We have tried. Iraq still kills one another. Our Army left blood there. There was no walking away in victory.

Over & over, some people, in the Middle East are raised in war, shall continue to do so, because if some are born to hate, raised to hate~war is all they know. Countries in war…I would wish they would look at their bloody history & wonder who is brave enough to stop it.
Is the Middle East a threat to us? Yes. So is a wildfire burning acres at a time. As are hurricanes, tornadoes, drunk drivers, crazy people with a gun.

People could agree to disagree.
You know, like successful marriages, the best & longest friendships.
But not like governments filled with their politicians. Politicians trying to grab the most cash to stuff in their pockets before the people realize they’ve elected a person that they would be ashamed to know. You can’t eat money.
Men scrambling for diminishing resources…its not oil that we need to find. Earth’s population expanding exponentially..people should be scrambling for is land to grow food & find fresh water.

But that is silly isn’t it?

We should be fracking our farmland & ruining our water supply so that we can fuel our cars to go…Where? We’ve surrounded ourselves with fires, droughts, floods, vacant strip malls, concrete & steel…oh yeah, and WAR.
I’m not worried. We have a boat & a fishing rod.
