I know that one, that is the orange/yellow tulips!!! Oh, I’m so happy I still have a brain!.
Guess what?! My husband, so far, has built me two 4’x6’x1′ garden beds!!!!! my point? More flower pictures. And those stunner tulips? I’m going to find those bulbs & try to grow a few next spring myself or feed the deer. 🙂 -amy

two are going to veggie/herb & two are going to be flower.
      Can you tell I’m happy!

You are so funny – I have issues remembering my name, let alone photograph posts and names.
So nice that your husband made you planting beds 🙂 I think you would enjoy Parrot Tulips – the leaves are ruffled and the color combinations are beautiful.
Below are free catalogs that I order just for visual learning. I think you might like them too:

They are so much fun to look at!

I am impulsive so I just wind up buying what I see at the store :/
Can’t make the deer buffet too fancy or they won’t leave, even if the dogs are out!

Oh, you are going to get me into trouble!! I wrote them down & I know that after I stop writing to you I will look & I will spend & spend & spend.
Have you ever seen ranunculus asiaticus bulbs? The flower is so beautiful & I had to have them, even though they say its too hot here. But we have a rather large creek behind where the beds are going & it tends to send a cool breeze. Its all covered on it sides by trees. So I think they will do ok. Well, I opened the bags they came in because they had to soak over night in a warm bath. Good God, they look like roaches. I am so grossed out by their appearance, I’m afraid to touch them. But I will. Because what if they grow into those flowers? I would be in heaven. Thank you for your website suggestions, & the parrot tulips. I will let you know what I buy.

Ha ha! Glad to send a little floral temptation your way. I’ve tried ranunculus bulbs without success. I don’t really have a green thumb. I’m sure your bulbs will do fine. I did cheat and buy a couple at Lowe’s 🙂 lets hope they survived the crazy 4+ inches of rain we had last weekend!

Oh gosh, I hope they work. I do talk to all my flowers, dog, cats, blueberries, strawberries, car… I guess because I spend so much time alone & I’m insane. But a good insane…unless I need chocolate & we don’t have any. 🙂

Cadbury or Hershey’s? I’m a chocolaholic myself. dont eat it every day but muse know there is some in the pantry – like a security blanket. I just LOVE simple Milk Chocolate, nothing fancy. I too talk and hum all the time. My Min Pin sometimes answers as he knows a Spanish woman can’t go very long in silence. Its not easy in a house full of men!

Cadbury eggs & fancy hershey kisses & dark chocolate covered peanuts. But some times the chocolate sings to me from the pantry. “eat me” Some times I can other times I give up & just enjoy.
House full of men? How many? I have two men, two tigers, I mean, daughters, two cats, two birds, one dog, one fish tank, we are a full house!- amy

Same here, except no nuts in this house- my son is deathly allergic to all of them. I refuse to have anything in the house that he can’t eat. However, we can eat those Cadbury eggs with the hard shell 😃 Those are dangerous!
The only girls in this house are me and Icy (our German Shepherd). Then it’s hubby, our two boys and my sweet 91 yr old father in law and Rocky – a funny, crotchety 10 yr old min pin!

A German Shepard and a miniature pincher?! That is a fun mix, they are similar in color & markings, but everything else is so different.
Sorry about the nut allergy, that is so scary.
It sounds like you have a house full of love, thank goodness for at least one other girl, Icy. I hope the men spoil you.
90% of my days are spent talking to Nala, my husky, because the kids are in school & my husband’s job has him traveling. So Nala knows all my secrets. 🙂 -amy
