The flower grew at Lowes. After I planted it, I cut my first long stem rose

I’m embarrassed to say, i forgot to read the tag. I saw it & I’d never seen long stemmed roses in Lowes before for 12.99!

Lol! It doesn’t matter. My Min Pin steals all the tags – plastic and metal! Some things I remember and others I don’t 🙂

They sit on my desk, waiting for the lord of the manor to return. He is a bit controlling. He is going for the “bank” look while I am more of an English Garden type. Which drives him INSANE.
I’m having a birthday party for three relatives tomorrow & I told everyone to bring a flowered plant in dirt & we can play a dirty Santa type game. Doesn’t that sound fun?!
Thank you for recommending the Joseph’s Roses, I can’t wait to get them in the ground!

Re: the lord of the Manor, I totally understand – mine loves formal topiary type gardens that took about 300 yrs and many gardeners to keep perfect. I’m happy that stuff grows – period!
This isn’t Spain or Jersey so I can’t expect too much from this clay
Have fun tomorrow! It sounds like a great idea to have everyone bring plants! Love it! My Joseph’s coat has a couple of buds and a bloom! I will try to post this weekend. Just came inside for a drink and to feed Frick and Frack.
