My Mother & Mother-in-love & law are both members.  Most of the members of this club are my Mothers’ age or older & much older. I am the newest member.  They are all beautiful & dress with such taste, I never hope to match.  My Mothers were in charge of the celebrations last month.  The Club’s 70th Anniversary.  My Mother Saab is an artist when it comes to food & its presentation.  The food was almost too beautiful to eat.  The flowers came from a woman who had beautiful & numerous Camellia bushes at her home.  My Mother is Vice President & is in charge of making the books, which are works of art & holds lots of information.  She has won awards for her books.  As a gift to all attending members she made boxes.  Mom placed these boxes randomly around the room.  I was early, so I was able to grab the box I loved the most, but never opened it until the end of the meeting & celebrations.

Inside was this wonderful quote from Budda.  But underneath my mom will place random images, mostly flower photographs she has taken & played with in photoshop to make them appear old, but in my box was an old photograph of my Grandmother, my uncle & my mother.  My mother is about 3 years old.  What a treasure.  I wonder out of the fifty or so boxes this very personal one, the only personal one of them all, found its way into my hands?
