elephant ear pumpkins

Myer’s Plant & Pottery painted the elephant ears for the holidays. I thought they were great. the white fluffy stuff is what cotton looks like before it is picked. we have fields of it in Alabama…mostly in the southern parts.

misselanias nails are above the torch gas

is Misslanias a brand of nail? this just cracked me up, i mean torch gas in a filing cabinet? and before you tell me i’ve misspelled miscellaneous, i’m getting your attention, did it work?

every which way i turned

i found something i wanted. i wanted all three of these wine crates/boxes. I am going back tomorrow, maybe i will get them. if i don’t, i will regret it.

she doesn’t know how beautiful she is

which is why she feels limited at 25, usually the speed of youth flies by. Oy, that was a bit hard to come up with. Myer’s Plants & Pottery…i wish i had bought her too.

see DNA without a microscope

this plant, name unknown to me, was incredible. i would love to learn the name. the purple berries out numbered the population of Birmingham. It stood between large bins of Koi for sale @ Myer’s Plants & Pottery.

my last family shoot i did was…

difficult. one girl wouldn’t smile, the other wouldn’t stop acting like Madonna Vogue-ing. the parents wouldn’t put the poor dog down, so i couldn’t photograph the father. The mother refused outright to look at me. this was the drama queen. they paid well though. but if they call me next October, i’ll say i’m booked…
