but i did it anyway. I had a family photo shoot at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens today. When I finished…this sight stopped me in my tracks. The orange poppies were absolutely stunning & now they’re mine.
my happy place
The black, behind the hammock, is the creek that borders our backyard. Behind my hammock are my four raised beds. When I swing here, I hear the water moving over the rocks. I feel the breeze, gentle as a kiss, moving over me. & if Hobbes, my cat, is outside, he jumps onto the hammock….

Blueberries wear a crown, just to remind us all of how powerful they are in being an antioxidant. 🙂
ladybug to the rescue
This hero is headed for the spider mites that have gotten into our blueberries. I use organic pesticides to kill these nasty things, but I would rather use ladybugs. I wish i could go to the nursery & buy an ARMY of these food-saving ladybugs. Fighting nature with nature really seems the way to…

Yes, you can put primrose into a vase. The vase just needs to be a thimble sized one. I made this vase with oven dry clay.
