why my heart aches for Vermont

I grew up in Montpelier & Burlington Vermont. I am living my life in Alabama. I married an Alabama man. I love my husband’s family & I am grateful to every single one of them for welcoming a Vermont Yankee, a foodie, a farmer @ heart, Jewish, politically opposite woman into their large Catholic family….

Husky stops to smell the Muppets

When I saw these English Daisies today, I had to have them because they made me smile. . Nala was wondering what I was doing…putting flowers on the floor. Don’t they look like a crazy Muppet?!

I want these flowers again…

but I cannot find them in Birmingham, Alabama…anyone know their name? I think they are African Daisies…I have some, but their petals are white.  Help?

The weather called for hail, high wind & a pounding rain. I wasn’t going to let these flowers endure that kind of punishment. Better they get put into vases to make my house more beautiful.
