i love the colors of fall

the story about how the spider caught a rainbow
not really a story. i made her (spider) mad. I took the water spritzer for my plants…& i washed her web for her. doesn’t it look grand? the droplets caught light & shattered it into a rainbow. i’m so lucky that she, my halloween spider decorator, decided to build her web above my front door….
bird feeder time or growling at fearless squirrels
or even, watching squirrels laugh at you.
my backyard creek
reflecting color from everywhere. stunning. There are fish in it too. We watched them swim & in some places, the water is two & a half feet deep. The creek changed shape with the crazy down pours & flash flooding early this summer, changed it so that we have a bit of a natural pool.
he holds my flowers
i took my ridiculous, but necessary, walker outside to see my gardens. I’d been outside only one other time since June 24th & saw that without my attention, things went to crap. kinda like my hip bones. however, today was a small victory. I cut my own flowers, that means my bones have knitted themselves…
how does your garden fade
this morning was cold (for Alabama) this morning. This pepper is from last fall, but I cant wait for our leaves & veggies to change colors. Right now, we’ve had little rain, our leaves are fading to yellow & falling far faster then they should.
