i think the feathers were created from crushed gemstones…a macaw @ the Birmingham zoo

Ooooo … I like this, very much. A parrot, right? I notice lots of what’s called moire while looking at this on my computer screen … if I remember correctly it’s what happens when patterns occur on a finer scale than the resolution of your sensor … what sort of camera are you using to record images for this blog. D
