    Dear Amy
Please feel free to move this off-topic comment but I just heard about something I thought you’d want to hear about too … concerning Vermont (a place I know is close to your heart). I hear that ogre of a corporation, Monsanto, has filed a law suit to sue Vermont because of a law Vermont want to pass to have Genetically Modified products labelled as Genetically Modified! This is bullying in my book – I’m supporting this campaign to support Vermont …

Working together we can beat the bullies!
    best wishes
    Peggy

Oh, Peggy! I LOVE that VERMONT stands for what it believes in. It always has. There are barely a million people in the state, but most of them know what makes the state so special. Monsanto is a crazy scary beast.
“and thought she be but little, she is FIERCE” ~Wm. Shakespeare. that quote should be Vermont’s motto. I am so pleased with the attention the law suit has brought, all the more for people to see that they are being lied to & that Monsanto is nothing but a mobster who’s bottom line is MONEY. I have gone to the site already & I’ve posted everything I see on my Facebook page. I have met both Senators Patrick Leahy & Bernie Sanders in person. The state has always led the way in proving that people & the earth should come first. Thank you so much for helping them gain attention! ~amy

I certainly agree, Amy! Monsanto are a company who may generate money for themselves but only generate anger and disgust in many of us. I just had an email from Katharine Hamnett (the London fashion designer) about an entirely separate campaign in which Monsanto are again the villain! All our small actions add together to make a difference. Here’s to victory for Vermont!
