      My son was doing just as i did when i was a kid with my brothers. I loved it. He kept them all day & at night, he released them. Thank you, Karen. ~amy

    Don’t they have such beautiful markings! – we like toads too. Our boys have had some great times finding frogs and toads when we’re out and about.

      My son kept them all day. He found bugs for them & water from the lake. He released them that evening. The next day he found a box turtle. I remember doing this when i was a kid. Thank you, peggy! ~amy
