So a Jewish girl wanted a St. Francis for her gardens. Crazy? No, I loved why he was Sainted. He belongs in every garden to remind us ALL to love animals & gardens. I love that he holds a bowl of seeds for my birds to snack on.
Thank you, Eva. I smothered him in plain yogurt last night as the sun was descending. I’ve read that it helps to give new statues a bit of an older look. I’ll post pictures if he turns out cool. Otherwise, St. Francis will get a bath. Thank you for your wonderful compliment. ~amy
You have a lovely garden. St. Francis is cool. He is one of my favorites.

Are you really from Alabama, jr Cline?! I do so love your comment. Means a lot to me. thank you for the compliment on my gardens. It is the only place I find peace here in Birmingham. ~amy
I believe St. Francis found the best garden in Alabama to be in and enjoy the love given by you and your family towards Mother Nature and animals!
