I’m reblogging this because I want everyone who knows me, as a person who blogs from Birmingham Alabama, to see just where I spent my late teens/early twenties. I want people to see what I see as home. Congratulations, Kendra & Brad. Oh, how I envy you.
Well itβs official! Brad and I are moving to Vermont! Burlington, VT to be exact! It has been in the works for a few months now, but we will officially relocate in the beginning of May! While I have loved Boston, Burlington has always been pulling me back! Going to college there, and travelling back for ski weekends got me addicted. I am so happy to be getting back to the city I love!
Let the new job (more details to come soon!), new house (pictures soon!), and outdoor adventures ensue!
Also, seeing as I will no longer be a βBoston Basedβ designer I think it is best if the blog reflect that as well! So keep an eye out for a transition to a new name for the blog! I want something that reflects both my design esthetic and love for the North East (both Boston and Burlington!).
Love!

Congratulations!

Good luck Amy with the move and search for a new name. Looks like a fab place to spend some time. Mulled wine in the winter and coffee all year round. What more could anyone want π k

I’m not going anywhere soon. I’m happy were I am, but sometimes, my body screams for home. I feel like I’m away at camp & I’m never going home. Its a sick-in-the-heart feeling. Thank you, Kevin! ~amy

I suppose “home” is many things to many people but its always good to be happy there. I”m now living a long way from where I was born but I love living in the New Forest and consider it home. Such a magical place π

Looks wonderful. I’ve lived both in New England and the deep south. Very different and they both have their charms.
