You’re lucky she waited so long! Max was digging the day we brought him home–we’re hoping we won’t have a mole problem anymore! She’s a beautiful girl.
Adorable photo. Mine dig also but since I have no yard they are digging in woods. No matter. Most of the digging seems to be in pursuit of small ground beasties.
Thank you, Gretchen. She looks like a giant rabbit. Her joy in the chase radiated all around her. I wish I had more then my phone. Although, my hands were covered with dirt at the time, so I’m lucky that I didn’t have a real camera, I probably would have broken it! ~amy
You are dog-less?! I don’t think I could ever be without dog fur in my…everything. The very best of angels among us. I’m glad you like my watermark. I chose it because I know people may take an image or two of mine & I wish them peace & hope they remember where they got it! ~amy
Our four dogs have all dug holes, much to my husband’s disgust as they spoil his carefully nurtured garden. The two oldest have now given it away, it’s beneath them, but the two youngest still dig furiously given half a chance.
Nala has never shown any interest in digging until she watched me doing so for 15 minutes. I was working my way around the bed & once I clear half of it of weeds, that is when she did that. I didn’t mind though. She has a chain on b/c we don’t have a fence, I use it only if I’m outside with her. I didn’t mind one bit, I just wish I had my regular camera. She is cute! ~amy
I love that, “dogs are such funny people” that is exactly what she is. She buried her head in the hole, then she would snort like a pig to get the dirt out of her nose. Nala was after something. Thank you for making me laugh. ~amy

Thank you! I will be sure to tell Nala you said so. Max will be the love of your life. If you are firm, but not angry when training. 🙂 ~amy

Ha! Great name. Huskies are known as diggers, but I’d never seen Nala do it before. So cute. ~amy
