someone else’s trash…

…is another's treasure. I found this terra cotta pot with roses at the thrift store for 2.99. The thrill of finding a treasure among so much junk is the best feeling ever! Thank you, Stephanie, for the trip!

I tried to do the #365 project. But I’m a photographer & when I find something I find amazing, I want to share it. When I take photographs, I take a lot. So I cannot do 365 b/c it would be way more then one image- which is the reason I have a photography blog. However, if I only used my phone & photography wasn’t a passion for me, i think I could find the courage to do the project. I do so hope you take the challenge. If only as a way to see life in a much grander scale. Thank you for your compliment. I wish you luck. ~amy

I just wanted to say I like all your photos, although I haven’t implemented the action. You encourage me to look at things differently and make me want to start photographing the things that surround me. Leaving me with no excuse to not take a picture a day for 365 days.

Thank you, Gretchen. When I find treasures like this, these material things mean more to me than had I found it in a regular shop. Strange, huh? ~amy
